I am currently a faculty member at the Institute of Astrophysics, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, since August 2022. I obtained my PhD from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2017. I then got a FONDECYT Postdoctoral Fellowship at Universidad Andrés Bello to study extra-mixing mechanisms and lithium in red giant branch stars of globular clusters. I was there for three years, from 2018 to 2021. In March 2021, I joined Universidad Diego Portales with an ESO-Chile Postdoctoral Fellowship to work on spectroscopy and white dwarf pollution.

I am interested in understanding more about stellar evolution and astrophysics and applying that to study the connection between planets and stars and the history of our Galaxy.

My current projects follow two research lines: first, analyzing stars by measuring their parameters and abundances. I use these to understand stellar spectra, the noncanonical processes acting on stellar interiors, and the signals left by planets swallowed by their host star. Secondly, I study white dwarfs with metal pollution, which can give us important clues about exoplanet formation and composition.
